Unconscious patterns of self sabotage are often seen as significant impediments to one's success.

Why do they happen and how can they be forever released?

Well in short there are a number of reasons for their existence such as:

1. I don't deserve to be successful.

2. I'm afraid of success.

3. I'm afraid I might fail.

4. Fear of making mistakes.

5. Fear of taking full responsibility for one's decisons and actions.

6. Fear that success will change me as a person.

7. Fear that success will cause others to take advantage of me.

And so on.

All of the above beliefs and feelings are pre-programmed into you from early childhood experiences in your family, or through interactions with others whose confidence you choose to accept. This programming is held deep inside of you and lurks there waiting to be called upon whenever you get too close to success.

In other words it is often two steps ahead of you and waiting to head you off at the pass.

What can you do about these programs? Well first it is important to recognize that they are there, that they are unconscious, that they must be made conscious and that by doing so the opportunity to flush them out once and for all exists.

The fact that they cannot be eliminated if you are not consciously aware of them is very important.

Now all such negative programming is sourced from negative memories that feed and anchor them into your being. These negative memories, by definition, have associated with them painful negative emotions which you have chosen to suppress from conscious awareness. They have been suppressed because you have been afraid of re-experiencing these painful feelings.

So what is being said here is that in order to release the negative programming one must first release the fear of feeling the painful feelings associated with them. Here I will take you through this first crucial step in your journey to success.

So we'll begin with the fear of feeling and enduring painful feelings from the past (i.e. things such as sadness, shame, embarrassment, grief, guilt, anger, etc.)

What is the benefit to you of having this fear living inside you?

Well one might say that the fear allows me to supress these painful feelings out of conscious awareness so that,

I won't have to feel them, so that,

I can achieve a sense of relief, inner peace, a sense of calm, safety, security, so that,

I can function effectively in my daily life and achieve success, happiness and fulfillment.

So in summary one has that:

The fear of feeling and enduring painful feelings from the past causes one to feel a sense of relief, inner peace, a sense of calm, safety, security, achieve success, happiness and fulfillment. I call this the Summary Statement.

Now lets look at the other side of the equation, so to speak.

Allow yourself to reconnect with the fear of feeling or enduring painful feelings from the past.

This can be done by allowing yourself to begin to remember some past painful event and then noticing the fear that ensues as a result of attempting to do that.

As you focus primarily on the feelings of fear notice what these feeings are doing to you.

You may notice, if you are astute enough, that the fear has a paralyzing effect, makes you feel numb or confused, makes you indecisive, leads to feelings of anxiety, physical tension, feeling overwhelmed, weighed down, helpless, hopeless, feelings of dread, depletion of energy and motivation and so on.

So is this fear toxic to you? Absolutely yes!

Does this however correspond to the Summary Statement above?

Well if you assess these closely you'll see that they are complete opposites and hence cannot be simultaneously true. So which is the truth?

Clearly the latter so that makes the summary statement false. If you see this and hence would like to have that false Summary Statement cleared from your life simply assert this to yourself as if speaking from your heart.

Next, recognizing that the fear of feeling one's feelings is toxic you may also wish to release this fear by asserting from your heart that this fear also be purged from your life.

Finally, contemplate how you would rather be feeling and experiencing yourself and your life and if this new state is desirable to you also assert this from your heart and then notice how you feel.

You may, if you've followed this closely, be feeling more energized, buoyant, self confident, alive, present, centered and more like your true authentic self at this point.

Some of the most popular search terms on Google are about money and how to get it, often in a short amount of time. At some point in most of our lives we need or want more of it. But if financial freedom is our goal, just how do we make this work for us? How do we motivate ourselves to have the money that we want?

Most coaches and self-help books will teach you that goals need to be specific, measurable, realistic and time-based. This seems easy when it comes to money; we just state exactly how much we want (for example, a yearly or monthly income), how we're going to achieve it and by when we want to have it.

But just how powerful is the goal of a specific income? Is the achievement of money a goal in itself, or is there a more powerful goal we could use to pull ourselves forwards to financial freedom?

A large number of people searching on Google use the term, "I want money". There's nothing wrong with that, but when people start saying "All I want is money", I get a little dubious.

I don't know about you, but the idea of acquiring large amounts of pieces of coloured paper, or black figures on a bank statement does not really inspire me. Not as an ultimate goal.

What we tend to forget is that money itself is not the true motivator. When we say we want money, we are really saying that we want the things that money can buy. What those things are is a matter of personal choice. For some it might be material things such as a new car, a big country house or a yacht. For others it might be the ability to send their kids to university, or take four holidays a year, and for some it might just having a sense of security or freedom, or being able to contribute to charity. Or it might be a mixture of all of these.

These things are far more motivating to us than just having the tool to acquire them. After all, when a builder builds a house, does he only set his mind on acquiring trowels and hammers and all the other tools that are needed, or does he visualise the building that those tools will build? The answer to that is a no-brainer, yet many of us seem to do this when it comes to money.

Money is, in fact, no more than a tool. The builder needs his tools in order to build his house, but acquiring them is just a step in the process. Furthermore, if he only thought of how he was going to acquire the tools, I doubt he would ever be motivated to build a beautiful house.

In order to create the inspiration and motivation that will give us the key to getting the tools (i.e. money), we need to make our goal the thing that those tools will build for us.

Think about the joy and sense of achievement you will feel when you turn the key in the door of your new home, or when you see the delight on your children's faces when you take them to Disneyland, or the sense of freedom when you have a lifestyle where you no longer have to worry about meeting the monthly bills.

These are the goals that will get you out of bed every morning and get you taking the steps to make the money that will bring them to you.

You will, of course, need to be aware of how much money you will need in order to create these goals, but your money goal is now part of your action plan: a stepping stone on the way to your ultimate goal. When you visualise your goal, you will be visualising something real and personal: your house, your family's happiness, your own daily lifestyle in detail, in colour and with all the feelings that go with it.

It is far easier to visualise your goal when it is personal, than it is to visualise an income level. Your goal is now far more meaningful to you, and will set you on course for achieving financial freedom.

Instead of merely chasing money, you are now on a path to the life of your dreams.

For some reason there is a movement out there of people that are opposed to tax cuts. I believe they make up a small minority, but they tend us up a lot of air time with their ignorant ideas. It is easy to view the Law of Attraction as the easy route. Just think of what you want and it will happen for you. The obvious response is to think to yourself that there is nothing to worry about because success will just come to you. But this is not the concepts purpose, as you will have to actually do something for it to work. But you can activate it by amending your thinking to begin the process towards success and growth.

Have you ever thought about someone and the telephone rings and it is them? I think we have all had this at least once or twice. If this happened once to a friend or family member, we could think how amazing that is and it is a co-incidence. But to happen to many people has to make us stop and think. The law is based on what the power of positive thought can achieve. The fact you are here reading this article suggests you have an awareness of this and can relate to it, even if it at present observing others is the only tangible evidence. Scientists are critical of the law because they cannot measure it. Another very obvious criticism is that if merely thought produced positive results then why poverty, famine and death in third world and other suffering countries?

Readers are encouraged to watch The Secret (2006 which focuses on the Law of Attraction. This can be found on amazon. This gained so much exposure that Oprah Winfrey dedicated two shows to the concept, and Larry King also had a lengthy discussion on the subject.

My personal take on the idea is that it enforces things I already hold close to me. Positive thinking never hurts, but to think negatively or not at all means you can never reach your potential. If you decline to learn how to ride a bike do not expect to be able to cycle. So do not be one of these people who sits back and shouts that life is not kind to them, stand up and force life to consider you as a potential success.

Whether or not you are helped by the Universe in reaching your goals, a lot of your assistance will come from within. The dogged determination to let nothing stand in your way will break as many barriers and obstacles as any law can. If the law does exist, then combining your own positive attitude with the universes help will make you unstoppable.

Here you should find plenty of excellent stocks featured along with their charts and supporting fundamental data. They may not be under the heading of recommended stocks but they could prove to be some of your best leads. Be very wary of specific recommendations.

What interest does the person recommending have in the stock? Will he carry your loss if all goes wrong? Will he tell you when to sell? Do you want to be reliant upon this individual and not really know why you are buying a stock? During a downturn you will find your list naturally shorter.

In fact your list can help to confirm other signals that the market is preparing for a turn. You'll start to find more and more candidates are coming through your screening and reading activities around that time. Develop good and regular habits perhaps consider analysing 1 or 2 stocks in more detail every day - that will give you a list turnover of roughly 10 stocks per week.
