Are you trying to make sure you set yourself up for success with your goals? First, you need to define your goals and know what you are after. If you want to make more money, then pick out how much you want to make and how soon you want to make it. If you want a new car, then pick out the model and the type so that you will have something to visual. This is very important in the strategy to get yourself to where you want to go.

Second, you should write down all your goals and put them somewhere that you can see them on a regular basis. You can also print out pictures of what you want or of something motivating to help you see what you are after and what you are working so hard for.

Last, you need to break your goals down into small pieces to make it easier. There is a goal setting theory called eating an elephant. The answer to how you would eat an elephant is one bite at a time. This is the same thing with your goals and they are much easier if you break them down into smaller parts instead of just concentrating on the larger goals themselves.
